Questions
Questions, answered plainly
We do not promise what we do not yet know: dates and details still to be settled will be sent by e-mail.
Are the lessons really free?
Yes. Lessons are entirely free. The educators are volunteers; no fee is taken from learners or parents.
Who can teach?
Women only. The learners are girls who wear the headscarf: their faith calls for lessons with a woman educator, and it is also the soundest arrangement for children's safety. For that reason, applications to teach from men are not accepted.
Who can learn?
Girls who are kept out of school because of the headscarf, at primary, lower secondary, upper secondary and university level.
Can an educator teach more than one subject?
Yes. In the form you can choose one lesson or several, across different categories too. For example, both mathematics and coding.
Which lessons are there?
Four areas: school subjects, technology and design (artificial intelligence, coding, design), world languages, and general development. Which lessons actually open will depend on pre-registration demand and the educators' fields.
Browse all lessonsWhat information do you collect?
First name, surname, e-mail address, country and the lessons you choose; from those who want to take lessons, also their level of study. Nothing else is asked for at this stage: no phone number, no address, no documents.
What happens after pre-registration?
When the pre-registration period closes, everyone will receive an e-mail explaining how the main registration works. Until then, nothing more is needed from you.
I am under 18. Can I apply?
Yes, you can pre-register. A parent's consent will be requested at the main registration stage.
How will lessons be held?
Online, one-to-one or in small groups. Details will be sent by e-mail.
Is my data safe?
Your name and e-mail address are stored encrypted and are not shared with anyone. Learners' names, photographs and schools are never published.
